Start with our puppy application. It helps me get to know you, your lifestyle, and what you're looking for, so I can make the best match for your family. From there we'll hop on a quick call, and if it feels like the right fit, a deposit holds your spot on the list.
Our $500 deposit is non-refundable. Deposits secure your place on our waitlist and play an important role in helping us thoughtfully plan our upcoming litters. We make breeding decisions based on the families who have committed to welcoming a Rad Doods puppy into their home. For this reason, all deposits are final and non-refundable.
Our waitlist is generally around 3–6 months, although this can vary depending on the litter. The best way to know where things stand is to fill out a puppy application. During our call, I'll walk you through our current and upcoming litters, estimated timelines, and available options to help you find the perfect fit for your family!
Yes. Every Rad Doods puppy goes home with a Pet Agreement that covers this along with our care expectations and our commitment to responsible placement.
Our Standards typically run 45 to 65 pounds full grown. Our Mini-Mediums run 25 to 40 pounds. Both come in red coats with abstract markings and wavy coats.
Multigenerational (multigen) Goldendoodles are puppies that come from several generations of Goldendoodle breeding, rather than a first-generation cross between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle.
By thoughtfully pairing multigenerational parents, we can work toward greater consistency in coat types, shedding tendencies, size, and temperament. Our goal is to produce healthy, well-rounded puppies with the loving, friendly personalities Goldendoodles are known for, along with beautiful, low-shedding coats.
While no dog is guaranteed to be completely hypoallergenic or non-shedding, multigenerational breeding helps us make more informed predictions about the puppies we produce.
Absolutely! The health and well-being of our dogs and their puppies is one of our highest priorities. Our breeding dogs undergo genetic health testing and OFA evaluations to help us make informed, responsible breeding decisions.
We carefully consider health, temperament, and genetics when selecting breeding pairs. Our goal is to produce healthy, happy, well-rounded puppies who will bring years of love and companionship to their families.
While no breeder can guarantee a dog will never develop a health condition, we believe responsible health testing is an essential part of giving our puppies the very best start in life.
Our puppies are ready to join their forever families at eight weeks old! By this age, they've had plenty of time to grow, develop, and learn important social skills from their mama and littermates. Before heading home, each puppy receives a veterinary health exam, their first round of vaccinations, and a microchip. We want every puppy to have the healthiest, happiest start possible as they begin their next adventure with their new family!
We partner with local families to raise some of our breeding dogs as full family pets rather than keeping a large number of dogs ourselves. Your guardian dog lives with you full time while we retain breeding rights for an agreed period. Head to our Guardians page for the full details.
We are located in beautiful Chugiak, Alaska, just outside of Anchorage! We love meeting our puppy families in person, and you're absolutely welcome to pick up your puppy directly from us.
We also have families from out of state who welcome Rad Doods puppies into their homes! For those unable to travel to Alaska, we work with a trusted flight nanny who can safely accompany your puppy to an airport near you. We're happy to discuss transportation options and help make bringing your new puppy home as smooth as possible!
